Dr Carlo Yuen

Dr Carlo Yuen is an experienced specialist Urological Surgeon (Urologist) based at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, one of Australia’s leading Private Healthcare facilities. Dr Yuen was awarded his fellowship in Urology by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2007.

About Dr Carlo Yuen

Dr Yuen completed his Medical Training (M.B, B.S) at the University of Queensland, he then went on to complete his Advanced Surgical Training within Queensland and New South Wales.

Dr Yuen undertook and completed his Fellowship in Urology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

He completed his Fellowship in robotics and advanced laparoscopy at the Cleveland Clinic and was the proud recipient of The International Preceptorship in Laparoscopic Urology through the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ).

Dr Yuen is committed to surgical education and training. He is currently head of training and education (TAE) of Urology trainees at St Vincent’s Hospital and is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW. He has previously held the position of Department Head Urology at St Vincent’s Hospital.

He is an active member of the Kinghorn Cancer Centre (TKCC) Urology multidisciplinary team. Dr Yuen is an honorary researcher at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and is involved in translational research particularly in the field of prostate cancer.

Dr Yuen has been involved in 25+ published articles.
